Base & Material

Base footprint 14 in. x 14 in., 16-1/2 in. tall. Sand cast 356-T6 aluminum per ASTM B26.

Mounting

4 slotted anchor holes, slotted 12 in. to 14 in. bolt circle. Threaded neck for 4 in. nominal (4-1/2 in. O.D.) aluminum pipe, Schedule 40 and 80. Three 3/8-18 set screws at 120 degrees.

Access & Finish

8-1/8 in. x 8-1/8 in. door opening. Available in bare (unfinished) aluminum, any powder coat color, or clear anodized.

Anchors & Warranty

Anchor kit 25L34-18PK: (4) 3/4 in. x 18 in. galvanized L-bolts with nuts and washers. 3-year warranty.

Test Level 3

The PB14 base and pipe were tested together as an assembly and passed all three MASH Test Level 3 breakaway tests: 3-60 (small car, 19 mph), 3-61 (small car, 62 mph), and 3-62 (pickup truck, 62 mph).

Whole Pole or Bases Only

We can supply the whole pole (base, anchor bolts, cable tether, pipe, and top cap) or just the bases. After a knockdown, the base is usually the only part replaced, about an hour with two people.
